Marin County supervisors are set to consider a proposed $716.6 million budget for the 2022-23 fiscal year that begins in July, a 5% increase over the current budget. ...

Supervisor Damon Connolly said he was glad to see that the budget contains $150,000 to support community oversight of the Marin County Sheriff’s Office.

“We’re getting a lot of inquiries about the status of that,” Connolly said.
