Announcing My Virtual Town Hall Series

As I shift my campaign for State Assembly into high gear, one of my top priorities is gathering feedback from as many constituents as possible. That’s why I’m launching a series of virtual town halls focused on many of the biggest issues facing the North Bay. I’m extending a personal invitation to you, and if there is a person or group you think should join us, please invite them too. Sign up here for details.

In 2022, I am running for the California State Assembly seat representing Marin and Sonoma Counties. Our district is a phenomenal, unique place to live, with extraordinary natural beauty and an innovative spirit.

For 18 years I have served my community as a school board member, San Rafael City Councilmember and as County Supervisor.

My public service in local government has been the honor of my life, and we’ve accomplished extraordinary things together so far. I’ve focused on strong environmental advocacy and wildfire prevention, increased access to affordable housing and public transit, and a science-based approach to the pandemic, all while keeping Marin County’s fiscal house in order.

I’m a Bay Area native who attended college and law school at UC Berkeley, and I have lived in San Rafael for the past 25 years with my wife, Dawn, and our two daughters. With Assemblymember Marc Levine seeking statewide office in 2022, it’s time to take what I’ve learned to Sacramento to ensure that Marin and Sonoma counties have a principled and effective voice representing them in the State Assembly.

Our community is more engaged than ever, and our representatives must be too. If you'd like to receive regular email updates, please subscribe to my newsletter.
