The job of a State Senator is to be a representative to the people they serve. There are only 40 State Senators in California, and the people we elevate to this important role have a profound impact on state policy, our regional economy, and our way of life.

In the State Senate, my top focus will be to listen to the concerns of every community on the North Coast, to ensure all of us are getting our fair share from the state, and to shape state policy in a way that helps our region thrive.
